I work on a variety of fiction and non-fiction translations, from literary texts to communications materials, in both simplified and traditional Chinese characters.
My translation of the crime fiction novel Black Holes by He Jiahong was published by Penguin China in September 2014. I also contribute to Pathlight and Asymptote magazines. I’m a member of the Translators Association and, in 2011, I was part of the BCLT/TA mentorship scheme for new and emerging translators.
I write reviews on new Chinese books for publishing houses. And I’m always keen to read new and interesting voices in Chinese literature – feel free to contact me if you have any suggestions for what I should read next.
